Throughout the history of man, as we’ve been discussing, there have been many periods of good times and bad times. During “down” cycles like this, people can be a little on edge. Today my Pastor reminded me just how simple it can be to make your own and others lives a little more bearable.
Here are 5 simple things to remember you can do when you find yourself in a situation where either you or someone you’re around is under pressure and on edge. These 5 reminders will also “grease” the wheels to keep you from getting in one of those situations in the first place too!
1. Say Please
2. Say Thank You
3. Say Sorry
4. Say I Forgive You
5. Say I Love You
Right now you may be thinking, “I’ve got so much to be sorry about these days. I’m sorry about the economy, my stock portfolio, my job, etc, I don’t want to say I’m sorry to ANYONE!!!”
Others may be saying, “I’m forgiving everything these days, debts, accounts receivable, I don’t want to forgive anyone else!!!”
It’s during these down times that we realize just how fleeting temporal “stuff” is and how important and valuable a kind word from someone can be.
Won’t you decide to make yourself and someone else feel a little better, a little lighter today? Let them know they matter to you, that they matter enough for you to be respectful and polite. Then ask them to pass it on.
So please, have a fantastic day and thank you for taking a few moments of your time to hang out with me. I’m sorry if you’re stressed out by anything right now or feeling like something is holding you back. I forgive you if you failed to remember that’s what I help people with, you can call Angela in my office to set up an appointment at 888.321.3684 because I love you!
All the best,
Doug
