Random Thoughts Archives

Recently, coming home from our family end of the year holiday in Mexico, upon entering the border town of Nogales, Sonora, a traffic policeman gave us directions to follow a specific route to one of three border crossings. As I did, my wife urged me to go the way that she wanted to go (the way the officer had prevented us from going) Being the good husband, even though I felt like we should be doing as instructed, I managed to find a way to get back on my wife’s preferred route.

Then the fun started.

The line to get across the Mexican border is never a picnic, and during the New Years holiday, it’s even worse.   We sat in a line for over 40 minutes, only to be told to go back to the end of the line by a surly, pompous ass of a police officer because we were in the wrong lane. Never mind there had been NO signs to indicate such. He threatened to take our license plates off, and started calling on the radio. Because officials with guns operate a whole lot differently down there, and not wanting to end up as the back story for a new Quentin Tarantino movie, I unwillingly complied.

Even with all my training and hypnotic skill, I must admit, I blew it. Literally. I blew my stack!!!! I swore and uttered an oath to NEVER drive a vehicle across the border again. Guess I’ll have to work on getting my pilot’s license and a plane to go with it!!! <G>

So now I go back the way we were ORIGINALLY told to go, and waited for over an hour and a half. When we finally made it across the border, we went for some gas and then stopped in at a Jack in the Box for some good ole American junk food. My wife Ana struck up a conversation with a few of the other restaurant patrons and found that they had waited, respectively, 4 and 7.5 hours!!! Amazing!

It wasn’t until then I realized that God, Spirit, the universe, whatever you prefer to call it, really does work in what we can perceive as “strange” ways.  Even a surly, pompous ass of a police officer can be an “instrument” for our own good. Even with the drama, we still crossed in less than 2 hours, while it took up to 7 hours for others!

So even if things are looking “bad”, and you’re “resisting what is”, remember, you never know what the universe has in store, so release the resistance and go with it. You’ll feel a LOT better!

I promise.

I just got back from the OREIA convention, (actually I’m in Chicago Midway enroute home!) and although it turned a bit cold and it rained while I was there, it was a great opportunity to get educated, and network and catch up with friends from all around the country.

I’m also really jazzed at the reception that my new program “Automatic Success Attractor” received and I want to welcome all the brand new SWITCH FLIPPERS to the family! What’s a switch flipper you ask?

If you haven’t heard about it yet, after much prodding, I finally came up with a way for people to easily flip that hidden internal switch, activate their “automatic success attractor” and start attracting more of what they want in life and less of what they don’t.

The folks that were in the audience at OREIA knew a great thing when they saw it and snapped the training right up! After just ONE night of use several students that purchased it cornered me to tell me about all the exciting changes they were already experiencing! THAT’s awesome! Here’s what I mean:

SO EXCITED I COULDN’T SLEEP!!!

Believe it or not, this is normal! When you start to unleash the power of your subconscious mind, it’s like shaking up a bottle of soda and popping the top! To learn more about what he’s learning, visit www.automaticsuccessattractor.com

For those of you that were in the area and decided to look me up for a private session, it was great to see you and work with you to help you move closer to reaching your goals. Here are a few:

If you think you can benefit from a private session, you’re right! Call my office at 888-321-3684 to inquire about availability.

I just got back from a fantastic trip to Tampa where I met with my mastermind group

I’s also like to say a big Thanks! to all of you that have taken the time to drop me a note to wish me happy B-Day! The family greeted me with song and hugs this morning, my son Stewart accompanied on the guitar so it was pretty rousing!

This weekend I am heading to Toronto to deliver a Turning Point Seminar for my friend Marshall Sylver, I”m really looking forward to it.

In my last post we wanted to surprise the kids with a “spur of the moment” trip to Las Vegas this weekend. The kids were totally caught off guard and we all had a blast.  We stayed with some friends in their extremely nice home, and plus, we had a lot of FUN! Take a look at their hilariously funny parrot:

Also, one of the points of the trip was to take the kids to a Turning Point seminar (that I wasn’t teaching!) so they could get an idea of what Daddy does when he’s away from home. They all learned a ton and had a blast while doing so, At 6 years old, Nicholas was the youngest fire eater so far as Marshall knows.

Here they are eating fire:

It’s great to have another adult “authority figure” re-enforce the same ideas and concepts I’ve been teaching my kids the last several years, even though they may act as if they’re hearing it for the first time! It was a great experience for them, though they probably won’t be going to many day seminars next time we go to Vegas. They’d rather relax at the pool. (Sometimes can’t say that I blame ‘em <G> )

As a parent, I think that one of our jobs is to create fantastic memories for our children. Ones that they will bring up years from now and fondly ask each other, “remember the time we…..” On second thought, this also applies to our spouse, friends, etc. doesn’t it?

Month’s ago I planned a suprise for my 3 children. Tonight after school, we’ll pick them up and tell them we have to go to a meeting in Albuquerque and they have to come with us. (Believe me, they’d rather eat rocks!)

When we get there, my wife is going say “Honey, I’m hungry” then I’ll say, “where do you want to eat” then she’ll say, “how about Las Vegas?” With our bags packed in the back of the van, we’ll drive up to the airport and get on a flight.

Once in Vegas we’ll be staying with friends, then going to Marshall Sylver’s “Turning Point” seminar. This is the same seminar that I’ve been teaching for Marshall the last several years, and is the reason I became a hypnotist myself. Now the kids can see what Daddy does when he’s working away from home! (Except I’ll be free to hangout with them instead of working!)

I’ll let you know how it turns out!
