    I’m really excited to help you start getting more from your life, are you? You better be! You also better be ready because when people start working with me, different areas of your life start changing and shifting in ways like they never have before.

    You may have had experience in the past with various methods of personal change and growth, or this may be your first exposure. Regardless, I want you to know I’m about helping you get results! Fast!

    Each day during the next week or so you’ll get a short, quick and easy to read email from me designed to get you moving forward paying attention to specific areas of your life and as you do, you’ll start noticing results right away.

    First, make sure you add my email address to your “whitelist” or “buddylist” so I don’t end up in your spam folder! I’m not too big a fan of spam. (Is that stuff even real meat?)

    Day 1 – Relax

    The single best thing you can do to improve all areas of your life is to simply relax!

    You may be thinking, “Easy for you to say, you have no idea what my life is like buddy!” Well, I might not know all the details of your present situation right now, yet I do know for a fact that stress is the leading cause of many physical and emotional ailments.

    In fact, studies reveal that a high percentage (like over 80%!) of primary physician office visits are stress related! Not accidents or something caused by external forces like you might expect, no siree-bob, the #1 cause of most trips to see the Doc are self induced! The term for that is “psycho-somatic” meaning psycho the mind, soma the body.

    I cover the mind body connection and what it means to every area of your life in my e-book. Listen: long term stress can lead to serious consequences, such as chronic illness and pain, cancer and eventually death. I know, we all gotta go sometime, but why go any sooner that you’re supposed to?

    You’re here to fulfill your life purpose, not see how fast you can exit! You owe it to God, yourself, your family and frankly the UNIVERSE to share what you know with us and you can’t do it if you’re not here.

    To eliminate stress, you must learn to relax. If you don’t know how or think you can’t relax, then it’s seriously time you learned how.

    Here’s an excerpt from my e-book detailing a quick and easy way to relax and go to sleep.

    Do you or anyone you know ever have a challenge getting to sleep at night? Here are 7 simple steps showing you how to retrain your mind to sleep quickly in 30 days or less:

    1. Complete your before bed routine (shower, brush teeth, put cat out, whatever) NOTE: For the next month, get in bed with the intention of going to sleep. No reading, no tv, nothing but sleep. If you’re feeling amorous for example, move it to the floor, couch, kitchen counter, wherever. Just not your bed, it’s for sleeping only while you retrain your mind.
    2. Take in a deep breath and close your eyes. As you exhale say or think “today is done, and I let it go. I’ve done the best I can do, and tomorrow is another day. Sleep, now”
    3. Take in another deep breath and slowly exhale. As you slowly exhale, say or think, “in a moment I’m going to count backwards from 3 down to 1, and as I do I relax even more with each number I say. When I reach the count of one I’ll be complexly relaxed and I will be deeply asleep within the next 5 minutes. Sleep now”
    4. Take in a third deep breath and slowly exhale. As you do, say or think, “After a full nights rest, I will wake up at (fill in the time you want to wake up) refreshed,energized and eager to start the day. The moment I awake, my eyes will open,I’ll get out of bed, smile, stretch my arms and say What a glorious day filled with love, opportunity and potential! Sleep now”
    5. Then do it. Say or think “Number 3, I’m relaxing now even more with each number I say. When I reach the count of one I’ll be complexly relaxed and I will be deeply asleep within the next 5 minutes. Sleep now”
    6. Say or think “number 2, After a refreshing rest, I will wake up at (fill in the time you want to wake up) refreshed, energized and eager to start the day. The moment I awake, my eyes will open, I’ll get out of bed, smile, stretch my arms and say What a glorious day filled with love, opportunity and potential! Sleep now”
    7. Say or think, “Number 1, I’m completely relaxed and will be deeply asleep within the next 5 minutes. Sleep now”

    That’s it! Give it whirl for 21 days! Most people begin to see results right away.

    There’s even more detailed information on how the thoughts in your mind can cause stress, so if you’re experiencing any, learning how to relax is your first start.

    You’ll be simply amazed how much more energy you’ll have, how much more you’ll get done and how much happier you’ll be when you simply learn how and remember to relax.

    So, how’d you sleep last night? Are you relaxed right now?

    One of the keys to maintaining a constant state of relaxation is covered by today’s installment.

    Remember, I sincerely appreciate your feedback!     Day 2 – Stop Resisting “What Is”

    What do I mean by resisting “what is?”  In my e-book, I discuss some of the common reasons for resistance.

    Most are fear based, such as a need to be in control, when you’re not getting what you want, or because your expectations aren’t being met.

    How do you react in the following situations in a given day?

    • The driver in front of you cuts you off and doesn’t signal a lane change.
    • The guy standing next to you in the line at the DMV is a real jerk.
    • The line at the DMV moves at glacial speed.
    • The DMV clerk at the window is rude and condescending.

    If you get angry or upset, then you are resisting “what is”. Resistance in the mind is manifested as tension in the body, and collectively is known as “stress”.

    Ah hah! Now you know why stress and relaxation are number one on my list!

    Here’s an excerpt from my e-book (which you really need to get if you haven’t already) The first trick is to start noticing or “catching” yourself when you’re resisting what is. When you do, try this breathing technique I learned from one of my teachers, Dick Sutphen.

    1. Take a deep breath and hold it as long as you comfortably can, then let it out slowly through slightly parted teeth, this allows you to retain the moisture in your mouth.

    2. As you slowly exhale, think to yourself, “this clerk is rude and condescending AND an a**hole. Ok, it is what it is.” (I added this part for myself, try it, you’ll like it)

    3. When the breath is all the way out, contract your stomach muscles and push it further out and further out. Then repeat the process.

    A few minutes of this breathing is extremely relaxing and will defuse your automatic reflexive response because changing your breathing changes your thinking. Hmm. Could that be part of the mind body connection I talked about earlier. We’ll see in Day 5.

    Oh, and for some of you the phrase “it is what it is” may sound trite, yet the moment you start to say it to yourself, you’ll notice your world becoming a lot calmer.

    “To offer no resistance to life is to be in a state of grace, ease, and lightness. This state is then no longer dependent upon things being in a certain way, good or bad. It seems almost paradoxical, yet when your inner dependency on form is gone, the general conditions of your life, the outer forms, tend to improve greatly. Things, people, or conditions that you thought you needed for your happiness now come to you with no struggle or effort on your part, and you are free to enjoy and appreciate them – while they last. All those things, of course, will still pass away, cycles will come and go, but with dependency gone there is no fear of loss anymore. Life flows with ease.”

    The point my friend is to learn to control your thoughts and thereby your emotions and actions, or realize they will control you.

    Hi

    Now that you’ve learned how to relax and go with the flow, it’s time to “get present”

    By the way, if you like presents, and who doesn’t, getting your hands on my e-book would be the greatest gift you could ever give yourself. Unless of course you’d rather give yourself something plain and ordinary like chocolate tequila and flowers, but that would be dumb when you can get so much more life changing info from me ; )

    Day 3 – Concentrate on What’s Happening Now

    Unless you’ve been in a cave somewhere in remote Siberia or Cleveland, no doubt you’ve heard of or about author Ekhard Tolle. I mean how could you not? Oprah had him on her show, doing teleconferences, you name it. Isn’t that cool? Anyway, he used up an entire book, The Power of Now (you should read it) to describe this key concept of concentrating on what’s happening now.

    Since ancient times, spiritual masters of all traditions have pointed to the Now as the key to the spiritual dimension. Despite this, it seems to have remained a secret. It is certainly not taught in churches and temples. If you go to a church, you may hear readings from the Gospels, such as, “Take no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought for things of itself” or “Nobody who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the Kingdom of heaven”. Or you may hear the passage about the beautiful flowers who are not anxious about tomorrow, but live with ease in the timeless now and are provided for abundantly by God. The true nature of these teachings is not recognized. No one seems to realize that they were meant to be lived and thereby bring about profound inner transformation.

    Eckhart Tolle

    From The Power of Now Part of learning how to create inner transformation is to learn about your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind, if you haven’t figured this out, is very powerful. Sometimes the subconscious is called “the theater of your imagination” because when you close your eyes most of you can imagine anything you have ever experienced or even things you haven’t experienced yet. (If you can’t do this easily and effortlessly, chances are very good I can help you learn to)

    By the way, there’s a lot of really, really, really, really, really, really great in formation on the subconscious mind in my e-book, and you really shouldn’t waste any more time, get it right now if you haven’t! (really!)

    IMPORTANT CONCEPT 1: The subconscious mind can’t distinguish between what is happening right now, or what you’re “making-up” in your imagination. When you catch on to this little known jewel of a fact, your progress will take off like a rocket! Here’s what happens to people that don’t catch on to that pearl of wisdom. . They either waste their time replaying old movies from the past over and over and get to call it “depression.” Still others choose to play movies over and over again from scenes in the future that haven’t happened yet and this they get to call “anxiety.”

    IMPORTANT CONCEPT 2: The past is gone. YOU CAN’T CHANGE IT! The future isn’t here yet. YOU CAN’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT EITHER. So stop wasting your time and energy and for Pete’s sake, stop contributing to the pharmaceutical companies obscene profits. (And by the way, who is this guy Pete?)

    Listen up spunky: The only moment that you can “do anything about” is this one that’s occurring right now. Right now, I mean, now. It’s all you have.

    Remember: it’s easier to notice what’s going on around you and how you react to it when you aren’t off somewhere “diggin’ up bones” in the past or getting yourself worked up over something that hasn’t happened yet. So get present. Concentrate on what’s happening NOW.

    When you do, you’ll be a whole lot happier, and so will those around you!

    Hey! Learning this information is a lot of fun, isn’t it? Some people tell me it’s like I’m reminding them of stuff they used to know on some level but forgot.

    Well that’s what coaches and trainers are for, to remind you of those things you know and forgot, and show you new things, all so you can experience better results.

    Day 4 – Discover and Clear Your Triggers and Fears

    If you’ve got my e-book, you now know that lurking deep in your subconscious mind are “programs” you created in the past that when activated or “triggered”, cause you to behave in a certain way, automatically.

    If you haven’t gotten it yet, well then you know now, and, you’re welcome! I’m happy to keep passing out good information for free because it’s important for you to get it. Get it?

    If you’ve ever said or thought “I don’t know why I do the things that I do” or “Why do I act like that?” or “I don’t know what’s keeping me from achieving my goals. It’s as if something is blocking me.”, then buddy, rest assured that its your “programs” or “scripts” that are running the show.

    • Do you ever anger easily?
    • Are you “short” or curt with others, even those you love?
    • Have you ever experienced being called “thin skinned” because you get “offended” easily?
    • Does “everything” thing in your life often “suck” or does it seem that bad things always happen to you?
    • Are you stuck, unable to move forward?
    • Do you procrastinate?
    • Do you find comfort in food, tobacco, alcohol, drugs or sex?
    • Is it hard to lose weight or stop a bad habit?
    • Do you have physical pain the Doc can’t explain?
    • Do you go from one bad relationship to another?
    • Do you attract the “wrong” people into your life?
    • Do you think other people hate your hair?
    • Do you hate yourself?
    • Do dogs pee on your leg when you walk by?

    These are all but just a few examples of the things people just like you struggled with everyday of their life. (Ok, I made up the dog thing) It’s by no means an all inclusive list.

    It is important to know that each of these programs is based in fear, which we usually think of as “an unpleasant feeling of anxiety or apprehension caused by the presence or anticipation of danger” or “a concern about something that threatens to bring bad news or results”

    Fear is eradicated by the light of truth and knowledge, and the truth is I’d be guilty of a crime if I didn’t give you every possible chance to get your hands on the knowledge contained in my e-book The moment you start to learn what your triggers and fears are and get the help you need to clear them, your world will change.

    You do want better relationships, and more money, don’t you? You do want to feel better. Right?

    How ya doin’? Feels like we know each other pretty well by now.

    Let me ask, what’s it like to know that most of the people walking around in your world have some of the same stuff going on that the rest of us do?

    So have you found yourself more aware of other people’s behavior? If so, excellent! That means you’re tuning into your own behaviors and the world is giving you opportunities to learn and grow. Just think of people and situations that trigger you as a mirror.

    Remember: What you believe you perceive.

    Today is such a hot topic I want to get right into it, but before we do, how about a word from today’s special guest, Harold Malloy:

    Day 5 – Listen to Your Body

    Is your body trying to tell you something? Your body knows what you need, the challenge is do you understand what it’s trying to tell you? For example

    • Do you have headaches?
    • Miscellaneous aches and pains?
    • Are you anxious or worried?

    Those are like the warning lights on the dashboard of a car! Instead of trying to shut it up using chemicals or other substances, it’s critical that you learn its language and how to give it what it wants.

    You are in for a monster treat today, because I’ve brought in my good friend and colleague Harold Malloy.

    He’s also a contributor to my e-book, which you really need to get already, ok? Stop messing around and just do it!

    Doug: So Harold you’ve been described as a body worker, a healer and a fun guy to be around. Would it be far off to say that you’re an expert on the body, it’s energy and connection to the mind and that you help people heal and reclaim their authentic self?

    Harold: Yup.

    Doug: Uh, ok. If you had to boil it down to sound bite size, what would you want folks to know about the mind body connection?

    Harold: Well, it’s kinda like dealing with the mafia. If you ask the body to do favors for you, like oh, continuing to function normally while you continue your unhealthy behaviors, saying things like “I’ll slow down and relax later” or “I’ll eat better and exercise later” or “I’ll stop smoking later” or “I’ll forgive that jerk later” or “To keep the peace I’ll swallow my anger” and meantime you say to your body, “can I borrow another day, I promise I’ll take care of you tomorrow, ok buddy?

    Whats the body gonna say. Ok, (usually) “but some day I’m gonna come around asking you for favor. (That means PAYMENT in mob talk)

    And then you go on though your life ignoring your body when it tries to talk to you, and finally it calls in “Guido” and he says HEY YA BUM!

    We been trying to get your attention, and you ignored us, so now I gotcha favor:

    • I’m gonnatake away your knees. (Arthritis)
    • I’m gonna give ya’ back all the crap ya been holdin’ on to. (Cancer)
    • Here’s ‘ya stress right back ya babe (ulcer)
    • And that need to control? Here’s excruciating back pain for ya!

    How ya like me now?

    Doug: Wow, that’s, uh, pretty interesting, I’ve never heard it put quite that way before. Could you expand on how you help people deal with “Guido” for our reading audience?

    We’ve covered a lot of ground the last few days. By now you should be noticing some shifts in your world. Also, by now you should have figured out that I think it’s a pretty good idea for you to get my e-book. If you think I’m pushing it too hard, then all I have to say is, you’re right! ; )

    Day 6 – Break out of Your Routine : Don’t Be an Ass

    To create the life of your dreams, you must start doing things differently. Think about it, when your nose is buried in the everyday details of your life, it’s hard to be aware of other possibilities.

    One of my mentors is a very smart man named Richard Flynt and he calls this being stuck in your “circle of sameness.” Whenever he says that, I picture a donkey walking around an around in a circle, (like the ride they have at the fair) doing the same thing over and over and never getting anywhere.

    I don’t want to be like that ass. I don’t think you do either, so please, do whatever you must, just don’t be an ass.

    Do you realize that your attitude, your bank account and probably everything else in your life is most likely the average of the 5 people you hang out with the most? If you are surrounded by negative or small thinking people, those thoughts will tend to occupy your mind and keep you right where you are. Don’t settle for anything less than the best! You deserve more! Do whatever it takes to put yourself in new situations, try new things, meet new people and learn new ideas. Start hanging out with cool people that are going places in their life, and doing great things.

    Day 7 – Think Bigger

    Have you ever heard the saying, “go big or go home”? This saying probably originated among skateboarders urging each other to fly as high in the air as possible and to do the most difficult tricks they can.

    As long as you are striving towards a future of your own design, whatever it is, make it larger! Be bold! If you want a $1,000,000 a year business, then you may as well go for a $10,000,000 business.

    And guys, if you want a date with that hot lookin’ lady over there, see if you can get her sister and friend to go out with you too!

    The more the merrier, right? ; )

    Ladies, if you’re so busy you can’t see straight, instead of trying to make more time in the day, why not go for a personal assistant, a housekeeper and cook, and a personal trainer? That will give you more time to do what you want to do and maybe even give you back the relationship you enjoyed before you got so busy or the time you need to create the one you want.

    Remember, As Zig Ziglar says “it’s better to shoot for the moon and hit an eagle than to shoot for an eagle and hit a rock.”

    In my e-book (he’s doing it again Martha) you’ll discover an exercise that will help you think bigger and you never know, it could just end up helping you to manifest the home of your dreams to go along with the life of your dreams.. So common’ already, whadda you got to lose? It’s less that $50 bucks! Get it!

    After doing this exercise we moved out of a double wide (a very nice one by the way) to the house on the hill where we’re living now, and I’m getting the feeling it might be time to do it again! Can you believe it; my oldest doesn’t think it’s cool to share a room with his younger brother.

    Day 8 – Utilize a Trainer

    The first thing you must know in order to get what you want is to know what you want! You must take time to think about what you want and then write it down, and by when you want it.

    Next, for each thing on your list, ask yourself:

    • What obstacles you might encounter in your quest.
    • What training will you need?
    • Who’s assistance will you need?
    • Are there any business skills you need to develop?
    • Any personal skills you need?

    Ask any successful person and chances are great that they will tell you that they owe their success to the trainers, coaches and mentors that help them focus their natural abilities on their outcomes and produce results more quickly. The right trainer will provide you with the tools, support and structure to accomplish more than you think is possible.

    Day 9 – Take Action

    Action is the causation of change. It’s what converts your thoughts into reality.

    Albert Einstein said “nothing happens until something moves.”

    Say Yes First, You Can Always Change Your Mind And Say No Later!

    You Can’t Always Say No First and Then Yes Later or How Saying Yes Now Saves Aggravation, Makes You Happier and Better Looking!

    Over the years my wife and I have developed a rule: if you see it and want it, get it now, you can always change your mind later. Even more so if you know it’s a bargain. The logic goes like this: Most people have been trained to say no to opportunity. Why? Because they’re afraid of making a mistake. Saying no gives them time to “think about it” or “sleep on it”

    When they get around to making up their mind, (saying yes) much of the time the opportunity is gone and they can’t get it back.

    The moment anyone of us thinks “this seems like a great deal” that thought goes out into the world and those of us that have trained ourselves to take action will pick up on that thought.

    As a real estate investor, I see it everyday. When I take action and say yes, while reserving the right to say change my mind and say no later, I nearly always win. Sometimes I win BIG.

    Yet when I say no first, then come back and say yes, the deal was gone. And I know that because of that I’ve lots tens of millions of dollars of equity and tens of thousands of dollars of monthly cash flow because of it.

    Don’t let this happen to you. Stop being afraid! Stop giving a rats derrière to what others think about you!

    I want you to succeed. Don’t you? Don’t you want to have the confidence and the courage to say yes to yourself, your life and opportunities?
